Today was a beautiful day. We all went to the park and had a picnic. The kids loved flying the kite, and we even saw a family of ducks in the pond. It feels like these simple moments are the ones we'll cherish the most.

Celebrated Mother's Day today. The kids made me breakfast in bed, complete with burnt toast and a lovely, heartfelt card. It's the thought that counts, and my heart is full. We spent the rest of the day gardening.

The spring cleaning marathon has begun! We tackled the garage today. It was a dusty, messy job, but we found some old photo albums which was a wonderful trip down memory lane. So many forgotten memories came flooding back.
